IT Vets USA's goal is U.S. self-sustainability within the IT sector. From microchip to power cord.

The Department of Homeland Security has a similar goal. American Intelligence Organizations must be able to acquire IT products manufactured in the United States. 

The Federal Government is heavily investing in this effort. They are providing contracts, grants and many other financial incentives for companies to make the circuits and critical components in the U.S.
